East York Deli has been in business for just over a year and it has definitely taken the hearts of many in such a short amount of time.
In October of 2006 Toula, our head chef started her journey of creating homemade fresh food for the community of East York. After 14 years of dedication at our sister location at 213 Oak Park Ave the Oak Park Deli, Toula decided to expand her business.
Thus creating the East York Deli catering location, to bring many of our culinary efforts to a variety of locations in the GTA, while still maintaining the inviting atmosphere of take-out and event catering.
Just like our other location, the number one goal is the production of fast and delicious food that will keep you wanting to come back for more. We have a wide selection of quick take-out options many being inspired by the hospitality and cuisine of Toula’s ancestral homeland in Greece. Maintaining the inviting nature of our store and staff is always in accordance to make sure your customer’s experiences are one to remember. Our secret to great food: hard work and dedication combined with the love of serving delectable food to see customers smiling faces. Even if at this moment that’s a bit more difficult we are making necessary changes for safety with increased sanitation and social distancing measures to make a safer and better experience.

In 2002, Toula Nikolopoulos left for a two-month vacation in Greece. It took her five years to get back home.She fell in love with the Mediterranean lifestyle and stayed to explore the sights, the sounds and the tastes of her ancestral homeland. Her cultural and culinary odyssey eventually brought her back to East York with a single goal: to share the hospitality and cuisine of Greece with her neighbours.
